Wrong Turn

It's Summer. And I'm the happiest I've ever been.

Took a wrong turn to find an alternate route on the way home from work yesterday. I found myself on windy roads surrounded by beautiful Idaho fields and hills. Pulled over, and stood among weeds that were taller than me. My Aunt Julie once said on the deck of a Mount Pleasant home "Isn't it great to remember that silence has a sound?" I recalled these words as I felt the silence around me. It was soon added by the sound of crickets, wind and bees. And so I stood and ate the apple I'd put in my bag earlier that day.

Beautiful World. Beautiful life.
